I know this is a blog about cupcakes and other fun desserts, but I wanted to take a moment to remember our furry family members. For the last few months, Ollie has been living upstairs with our friends and spending his time hanging out with my dog, Duchess. He was the only dog she ever warmed to and it was fun to watch them play together on the front porch. They loved to go for walks together and compete for attention. It was quite the comical sight--the old lady dog who plods along and stops to sniff everything and the rambunctious youngster who jumps and leaps. Recently, he started going for runs with me and was an excellent training partner.
I am sad to say that he passed away yesterday. Goodbye, little friend. You will be missed!
